Privacy, plainly

This is a free, one-person passion project. There are no ads, no analytics trackers, no email marketing, and nothing for sale. The only data collected is what the app needs to track your 75 days, and your progress photos are private to your account — full stop.

Your email and a hashed password (bcrypt — the plain text is never stored). Your program data: task check-offs, workouts, water, pages, books, planner blocks, restarts, and the pledge signature you type. Your timezone, because the midnight rule runs on it. If you opt in to weather planning, your coordinates rounded to about a kilometer — never precise location, never a location history.

Photos are stored privately on the server and served only to your logged-in session through signed links that expire after 10 minutes. There are no public photo URLs, no CDN copies, and no way for another user to reach them. The share card renders your day count and streak — never your photo. Delete a photo by retaking that day, or delete everything by closing your account.

One session cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days. No third-party cookies, no fingerprinting.

Hosting is a server at Hetzner (a German cloud provider; this server is in the USA). Weather comes from Open-Meteo, queried with rounded coordinates only. If email is enabled, password-reset messages are delivered by Resend. That's the whole list — data is never sold or shared beyond it.

Encrypted-at-rest server snapshots and nightly database backups are kept for 7 days each, so a deleted account fully leaves backups within about a week. Your day history (including failed attempts) is kept while your account exists — that history is the product.

Email johnmullinlax@gmail.com from your account address and everything — account, program history, photos — is deleted. In-app self-serve deletion is coming.
